I just read of these three news reports in the last 24 hours. A tale of three woes. It made me think...how fortunate that is for some. How unfortunate for others. How sadly American it's all become.

Police: Elderly sell pain pills for cash.
(4/20/06 Update: Sadder still, CNN apparently feels that this story's not worth keeping online. You can still search on the keywords though and pick up the story elsewhere. I'm leaving this link as evidence that it did at one time carry such a story online.
